What is Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?

The SDGs are a collection of 17 global goals set by the United Nations in 2015 to address a wide range of global challenges. These include poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice. Each goal has specific targets to be achieved by 2030. The SDGs are designed to be a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They emphasize a holistic approach to achieving sustainable development for all nations.
